The extra virgin olive oil of the Producers Cooperative Oil Mill of Canino is produced by pressing the hand-picked olives from the trees in the territory of Canino and neighbouring municipalities, which are processed within 24 hours. Our oil has low acidity and is rich in polyphenols (antioxidants), which are responsible for its organoleptic properties. It is clear and bright, or veiled if unfiltered, with an emerald green colour and golden shades. It is more intense when just extracted and has a strong taste with a fruity aroma and a bitter and spicy aftertaste.
