Olio Extravergine di oliva Prodotto dal 1965 dalle olive dei soli soci della Cooperativa

The Oleificio Sociale Cooperativo di Canino processes exclusively the olives picked by its members in the olive groves of the social production area, obtaining a high quality Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil with an emerald green color and a strong and tasty flavor.

Most of the merits that are recognized by experts and connoisseur consumers derive from the pedological and climatic environment, from the prevalence of the “Caninese” olive cultivar, from the rational management systems of the olive groves and, finally, from the accurate technologies adopted in the transformation and extraction phases.

Canino's extra virgin olive oil is not only good as a condiment, but it is a real elixir of well-being with an infinite series of benefits for our health and contains all those characteristics that make it healthy, genuine and controlled.
Canino extra virgin olive oil is a true elixir of well-being with an infinite series of health benefits.
Its origin is linked to the “gens Caninia”, one of the noblest families of the Etruscan Vulci; remains of an imperial villa attest to the Roman presence, but the first notes date back to the Papal Bull of Pope Leo IV issued in the ninth century.

The town was the birthplace of Pope Paul III Farnese. In the palace, the work of the architect Valadier, lived Luciano Bonaparte, Napoleon’s brother, whose family chapel is located in the Collegiate Church of which you can also admire paintings by Albertinelli, Wicar, Monaldo, and some of the Flemish school.

Other paintings and frescoes of the school of Perugino are found in the Convent of San Francesco.
